BEHIND THE ARTWORK
“I paint Black bodies and the essence of the Black figure, bold, abstracted, vulnerable, soft, positioned in spaces that are colourful, vibrant and lively.”
- Mekia Machine
Framed works are presented float mounted in a black ink stain (pictured), dark oak stain or handpainted white wooden frame, as shown in the moulding examples below.
Please specify your frame colour preference in the order notes. We are very happy to hold up mouldings against your artwork and discuss which finish works best.
Framing is 2 - 4 weeks as standard but please let us know if this is needed for a particular date and we will do our best to accommodate a faster turnaround for you. Alternative mouldings, frame style or size are available upon request, do not hesitate to contact us to discuss further.
We frame with standard glass which is included in the price, however we do recommend specialist glass which contains UV & anti-reflective qualities to ensure the archival qualities and depth of colour is maintained. We can quote for various options, please let us know in your order notes if this is of interest and this can be quoted and invoiced following your order placement.
