“This new series of works are characterized by geometrical arrangements and a fascination with calligraphic elements of making a painting. Having travelled and exhibited in China I was very influenced by the high regard they have for the art of calligraphy, where they value brush strength above all other as it's closely linked to the forces of nature and the kinaesthetic energies of the human body.“

FRAMING
Framed works are presented mounted with an acid-free bevelled-edge mountboard into a handmade, hand-painted tulip wood frame. This is available in White, Lime Wash, Dark Brown and Black Ink Stain, as per the images below.

Framing is 2-4 weeks as standard. We are happy to hold up samples against your purchased artwork and discuss which finish works best. Alternative mouldings, frame style or size are available upon request, do not hesitate to contact us to discuss further.

We frame with standard glass which is included in the price, however, we do recommend specialist glass that contains UV & anti-reflective qualities to ensure the archival qualities, depth of colour and metallic leaf are maintained. Please see the price options below:

We take our responsibility of caring for the artworks very seriously, and whether framed or unframed we package artworks with the utmost care and protection using high quality sustainable materials. Unframed works are always packaged flat to ensure artworks arrive in excellent condition, however, please get in touch if you would like to discuss options.
