PART OF THE 'NEON SKIES' COLLECTION
This collection presents a nod to Jayson’s early works, where luminous colours dominate the skies. This series sees the return of the vivid, over-saturated pallet, as colour breaks through swathes of gold sky in varied and unpredictable ways.
With a background in graphic design and print, Jayson’s work increasingly demonstrates the mark of the human hand, and the looseness and imperfections synonymous with this. The unpredictability of the various materials and methods employed in these works embeds an excitement and liveliness into the compositions. No longer seeking technical perfection, Jayson’s newest body of work reflects on the mark of human touch on the city; recognising it as a place of vibrant lived experience rather than passive architectural structures.
In these three new variable editions Jayson celebrates brand new vistas from Greenwich Park, views of Albert Bridge in Chelsea, and the city of London from Southbank Beach. The low editions of only seven in each series, and two extra special APs, will make the collection a highly desirable one that won’t be around for long.
Presented framed only with Anti-Reflective 70% UV glass to ensure the archival qualities, depth of colour & gold leaf is maintained.
The artwork is float mounted onto 3mm foam core on acid-free mountboard in a black woodgrain frame with a face of 2cm and depth of 3.2cm as standard.
