BEHIND THE ARTWORK
“I've always drawn while working. It was something I did in between other things, or ideas for something else. But I've developed a new appreciation for drawing, which has gradually grown over a period of time. There is something special for me about 'seeing the artist's hand', something that is not quite possible within a paper collage. Mark making is so personal and has a certain emotional quality to it and I'm delighted to have these four drawings as part of my new collection of work.”
– Gráinne Nagle
Presented framed only in a handmade wooden frame with specialist Anti Reflective 70% UV glass to ensure the archival qualities & depth of colour is maintained.
The artwork is presented behind a thick bevelled edge mount into a bespoke dark brown hand-stained wooden frame as shown in the example image.
